About the Show
Inn Between is an adventure between adventures, wherein our five heroes (who may or may not be player characters in a fictional Dungeons & Dragons campaign) relax, regroup, and shoot the breeze in the conveniently located Goblin’s Head Inn.
The show intentionally leaves details of the adventurers’ escapades to the imagination, with the only information provided to the listener in the form of “Previously On” and “Next Time On” segments at the beginning and end of each episode. This unique format allows for the character development and team building that isn’t facilitated by the mechanics of most Actual Play podcasts (and even D&D campaigns themselves).
Ultimately, Inn Between is a show about friendship, character development, and empathy, within a setting of monsters, magic, and adventure.

This show is a labor of love and supported by our listeners through our Patreon.
Inn Between is family-friendly—we don’t even swear—and designed to be enjoyable for listeners of all ages. There are mentions of alcohol, which aren’t out of place in the tavern setting of the show, and a few instances of foolish behavior and existentially scary issues, but for the most part Inn Between contains content much less questionable than the average Grimm fairy tale.
This show and its team are dedicated to accessibility. All episodes have transcripts available on our website along with the episode player. We are always looking for ways to improve our show’s availability to audiences of all abilities.
